The A.I.M. Summer Program students swam at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center, Tuesday July 8th, 2014. As we drove up to the Aquatic Center, we were excited because the building looked big, and there were lots of activities for us to do. There was a pool called the Lazy River. The Lazy River is a pool that you can float around because of its current. As you are floating streams of water squirt you from the island, and we were soaked by the waterfall that came from giant red tubes. There was also a regular pool that had basketball hoop with two mini basketballs. We had a chance to play a game with each other, and I was able to work on my shots as well. The main attraction was the water slide! The slide took you out of the building, twisted you around and brought you back in. A lot of us enjoyed the slide and went on it many times. At the end of the day we were tired from all of the fun that we had. The bus ride home was quiet with sleeping kids. I recommend heading to the Upper Valley Aquatic Center for a day of fun with your friends or family.
