Friday July 10th, 2014, the A.I.M. Summer Program went to Echo Lake. On the way there, the bus trip was loud and energetic. Once we arrived we had a picnic lunch all together. At the lake we swam with friends and fished all day long. All of us had fun in lake, and built sand castles on the beach. Many of us did tricks in the water like hand stands, and flips; toning our skills as future synchronized swimmers. We played lots of games like 500, tug-of-war, and tag. No one really won, but we all had a lot of fun playing. We tried finding clams, shells, and mussels. Brenna was a great diver and found more mussels and shells than anyone else there. Our fishermen were unlucky and didn’t have a bite all day. That didn’t matter because they enjoyed Margaret sharing her vast fishing wisdom. At the end of the day we all got a treat from the A.I.M Staff. We all loved Echo Lake and we all plan on going again sometime soon.
